FWO is Coffs Harbour’s only local representative, covering the whole of the mid north coast area, for the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC). ASIC enforces and regulates company and financial service laws to protect consumers, investors and creditors.

Most company forms have a ‘cut off’ date, therefore lodging your company forms at FWO is the same as if you lodged them through one of ASIC’s service centres in Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane or Southport.

All company forms are available on the ASIC website www.asic.gov.au. Answers to questions regarding your company, investors and consumers, financial services, markets, corporate finance and insolvency and publications are also available on the ASIC website.

FWO are also able to assist clients and customers by performing company and business name searches, which give information relating to a company. There is a charge for these searches. Availability of company and business names is also available.

The lodgement of ASIC forms, excluding any applicable lodgement fees payable to ASIC is a free service provided by FWO to their clients and customers.
